4 Ways To Give On Giving Tuesday

It’s that time of year again! Giving Tuesday is right around the corner and we wanted to let you know how you can help Sage Home this Giving Tuesday!
So, what is Giving Tuesday?
According to the Giving Tuesday Organization, it is a “global generosity movement that unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world.” Since it’s beginning in 2012, Giving Tuesday has encouraged billions of dollars in giving. Last year alone, $1,970,000,000 was given on Giving Tuesday - wow. This year, Giving Tuesday is December 1st, and we’re participating!
How can I participate in Giving Tuesday and support Sage Home this year?
We have quite a few ways to participate this year! You might be saying - well, I don’t have the financial capacity to support Sage Home in that way, are there other ways I can participate? The answer is...YES!
1. The most obvious option - Donating
As you may know, Sage Home is in the process of trying to rent a building in Flagstaff so that we can open and begin serving families. In order to do this, we need to have $4,000 in monthly income from generous donors like you. Currently, Sage Home has $1,515 in monthly donations - which we are blown away by! In order to help us reach our goal of $4,000, we have set a stepping stone goal of raising $500 in monthly giving on Giving Tuesday to bring us to $2,000 a month. It’s a big number, but we think we can achieve it!

2. The super-duper helpful option - Sharing
Share about us on your social media and with your friends, family, and neighbors. It means so much to us when we see our fellow community members sharing our posts and helping us spread the word. If you have an Instagram, follow us HERE and if you have a Facebook follow us HERE. Also, make sure you’re subscribed to our emails! You can do that at the very bottom of this webpage.
3. The help-us-both option - Giving
Are you going through your closet this year and wondering what to do with the clothes you no longer want? What about those toys your kids have outgrown?
We have a solution! When we open, we will need a supply of women’s and children’s clothing & toys to provide families. So, on December 1st from 2-7 pm Sage Home is hosting a gently used women’s and children’s clothing & toy drive! Check out the flyer below for all the details.
Stronghold Coffee Co. is sponsoring the event with coffee & hot chocolate, and anyone who brings in a donation will be entered to win a raffle basket including items & gift cards from various local Flagstaff stores including Salsa Brava, Stronghold Coffee Co., Pizza Patio, and others!
4. The most delicious option - Eating
Leading up to Giving Tuesday we have an all day fundraiser at The Oakmont. Order in the restaurant or over the phone to-go anytime between 11am - 10pm on November 28th and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Sage Home.
